We've recently rolled out several exciting features to improve the user experience. Key updates include a new flow for Festive Gifting, mobile OTP verification for enhanced security on Xoxo Link rewards, introducing an Intercom chatbot for accessible support, and upgrades to the Plum Marketplace with a refreshed homepage and optimized mobile interface.

These changes and many others are designed to make the experience seamless, secure, and efficient for admins and users.

Here's what's new:

New Flow for Gifting with Predefined Campaigns

We created a new, easy journey through Plum designed for clients looking to send festive gifts. It can be accessed right after login. The entire reward redemption journey is just a few clicks without having to select the distribution mode separately, create a campaign, craft emails, etc. All of this is predefined, including curated campaigns containing the most appropriate gifting products. All the admins needs to do is pick a gift selection and choose whom they want to send it to, and it is done.

Mobile OTP verification for Xoxo Links Distributed via email

Customers can now add an extra layer of security by enabling OTP verification for the recipients' phone numbers when rewards are sent via email or SMS. This ensures that only the intended recipient can access the reward.

Removed Case Sensitivity in Filters

Case sensitivity has been removed from the name, email ID, and notes fields in the report filters, making it easier for admins to find the specific records they need.

Implementation of Chatbot In Plum Admin

Admins can use the new chatbot to get quick answers to their questions about Plum. The chatbot provides checklists for tasks like setting up an account, adding funds, sending rewards, and choosing a distribution method. Admins can also contact a team member with one click for further assistance.

Reminder Email Enhancements

Reminder emails now include more details, like the expiry date, to encourage users to check out and redeem their rewards on time.

Xoxo Link Order Delivery Improvements

Previously, if an order on Xoxo Link wasn't fulfilled immediately, the user had to remember to refresh the link periodically to check its delivery status. With this release, once the order is confirmed, it will be automatically delivered to the user via email or phone, even if it's in a pending state, eliminating the need to keep checking the status.

Homepage for Marketplace

The Marketplace now has a new homepage with a better layout, making it easier to see all product categories. Users can easily browse through a variety of attractive products, improving their overall experience.

Enhanced Interface for Mobile View of the Marketplace

The mobile version of the marketplace has been upgraded with improved pages for listings, products, and more. This update makes the redemption process smoother and convenient for mobile users, enhancing the overall experience.

Improved Listing Pages on Web Interface

The product listing pages on the web interface have been improved to show more products in a single view, helping users make better choices and easily explore the full catalog. Filters and sorting options are now conveniently located in the top-right corner for easy navigation.

Support to Collect Personal Information ( PI ) of End Users for B2C Brands

As per Indian regulations, it is now mandatory to collect personal details such as the recipient's first name, last name, phone number, and email address to process orders. This information is required to track redemptions for security purposes.

Applicable brands: B2C use cases, especially Amazon shopping and Amazon Pay vouchers.

Bulk Resend Rewards for the Gift Card Module.

Super admins can now resend rewards in bulk by selecting multiple orders from the report, saving time and eliminating the need to resend individual rewards.

New Payment Options

We have now enabled PayPal and Mastercard prepaid cards as additional options.

Note: The Mastercard prepaid card requires additional KYB details to be enabled for your account.


Upcoming features:

  1. Email and SMS Delivery Tracking

    Admins will soon be able to track the delivery status of Emails and SMS with timestamps for each transaction. Resend activity will also be logged, providing full visibility to help better plan and manage reward resends.
  2. Wallet Recharge Alerts for Super Admins

    Super admins will get instant notifications for successful wallet recharges, keeping them informed and ready to take action when needed.
  3. Reward API to support Airmiles and Perks

    The Reward API will soon include Airmiles and Perks as redemption options, offering users more choices beyond gift cards. Admins can also process transactions via the API and track them in reports by category.
  4. Perks and Deals Category in Marketplace

    We’ll soon be launching a Perks and Deals category in our Marketplace, offering exclusive offers to enhance engagement programs and boost user participation.
  5. Currency Conversion Info for Stores

    Users will soon see detailed currency conversion for their point balances when shopping in different regions, ensuring clear and transparent reward values across geographies.
